Job summary

A community-focused adult day care center in Baltimore is seeking a reliable Van Driver to transport clients to and from the center. The ideal candidate is friendly, patient, and committed to client safety and comfort. Key responsibilities include safely transporting clients, assisting with their needs, and engaging them in activities. Candidates must possess a valid driver's license and excellent communication skills. This role is essential for supporting our mission of exceptional care in the community.

Qualifications

• Experience driving passenger vans or comfortable driving 15 passenger vans.
• Compassionate attitude towards clients.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift and assist clients as needed.
• Possess a CNA license (preferred but not required).

Responsibilities

• Safely transport clients to and from the Adult Day Care Center.
• Assist clients in boarding and disembarking from the vehicle.
• Assist with structured activities within the center.
• Assist with toileting for clients in need. (non-negotiable).
• Assist client with scheduled appointments outside of the center.
• Communicate effectively with staff

Skills

Education

Valid Driver's License and clean driving record
