Job summary

NHC HealthCare Kennett is seeking a Transportation Coordinator to join our team in Kennett, MO. You will schedule and coordinate transportation for residents, set up appointments, and ensure confidentiality while assisting passengers in and out of vehicles.

The role requires CNA certification, a valid state driver's license, CPR/AED certification (we can help), and the ability to use GPS/technology systems. Lifting up to 50 pounds and English proficiency are also required.

Qualifications

• Must be CNA certified and have CPR/AED certification.
• Must hold a valid state driver's license and be able to pass a chauffeur's license test.
• Must be CPR/AED certified (we can help you get this).
• Must own a smart phone and use GPS/technology systems.
• Must read, write, and converse in English.
• Able to lift/pull up to 50 pounds and assist passengers in/out of vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Set up and schedule appointments and transport residents to appointments.
• Maintain strict client confidentiality while performing duties.
• Support residents and coordinate transportation within the facility.

Transportation Coordinator in Kennett, MO!

NHC HealthCare Kennett is looking for a Transportation Coordinator to join our team! This fun job will give you the opportunity to meet interesting people and work with a group dedicated to brightening the days of our passengers. You will be setting up appointments, scheduling appointments, transporting residents to appointments, and other duties while maintaining strict client confidentiality.

Requirements

• CNA Certified
• Must have valid State Driver's License
• Must be able to pass a Chauffeur's license test and pass a background check
• Must be CPR/AED Certified (We can help you get this)
• Must own a smart phone
• Must not have a physical impairment preventing the candidate from driving safely, or from performing the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodations
• Must be able to read, write, and converse in English
• Must be able to use a GPS/ Technology System, read, and understand road maps
• Must be able to lift and/or pull up to 50 pounds and the capability to assist passengers into and out of the vehicle; including pushing a loaded wheelchair up and down a ramp/ lift, in to, or out of the vehicle
• Must be able to climb in and out of the vehicle
• Must be able to bend and reach to properly secure wheelchairs or stretchers inside the vehicle
• Must be able to sit for long periods of time depending on duration of transportation
