Job summary
Fairfield Nursing and Rehabilitation is seeking a Transportation Aide – CNA to ensure residents are transported safely to medical appointments, therapy sessions, and activities. This role blends caregiving with responsible driving, requiring attentiveness, empathy, and strong safety practices.

Qualifications
- Holds a valid driver’s license and has a clean driving record.
- Is at least 25 years old (insurance requirement).
- Has a current Nursing Assistant Certification in Texas.
- Can pass the DMV check and qualify for company insurance.
- Completes the Employee Driver Proficiency program.
- Demonstrates strong communication, patience, and attention to detail.
- Is comfortable with caregiving and safe vehicle operation.
Responsibilities
- Safely transport residents to and from medical appointments, therapy, and scheduled activities
- Monitor safety and comfort during transport
- Observe changes in residents’ condition and report concerns promptly
- Assist residents with mobility using proper techniques
- Record vitals when needed during transport
- Support CNA duties in the facility when not transporting residents
