Job summary

Caprock Nursing in Texas is seeking a Transportation Aide – CNA to ensure residents are transported safely to and from appointments and activities while receiving attentive care. You will drive residents, monitor comfort, and assist with mobility and transfers using proper technique.

The role requires a valid CNA in Texas, a valid driver’s license with a clean record, and strong communication and patient-care skills.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Nursing Assistant Certification in Texas.
• Must be at least 25 years old for insurance requirements.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport residents to and from medical appointments, therapy sessions, and activities.
• Monitor safety and comfort during transport.
• Observe changes in residents' condition and report concerns.
• Assist with mobility and transfers using assistive devices and proper technique.
• Record vitals when needed during transport.
• Support CNA duties in the facility when not transporting residents.
