Job summary

Fundamental is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - Transportation Aide to join our team in Hutto, TX. In this distinctive role, you will provide direct patient care and safely transport residents to appointments using facility vehicles.

The position requires a valid CNA license, a driver’s license with appropriate classification, a high school diploma, and reliable transportation. Competitive hourly wages are offered, along with a comprehensive benefits package for full-time

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Driver’s License with appropriate classification for passenger van/bus in the state of operation.
• Prior experience transporting patients preferred.
• Must be a licensed CNA in good standing with the state (as required).
• Reliable transportation required.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily nursing care and services that support the care delivered to patients in the facility.
• Report any incidents, accidents, changes in patient’s/resident’s condition, requests, problems, and complaints to their supervisor.
• Deliver care services to patients including assistance with bathing, changing linens, properly positioning patients, offering hydration, checking in on patients, taking/recording vital signs.
• Escort patients/residents from assigned rooms to and from vehicles and appointments.
• Safety drive facility vehicles to transport patients/residents to and from appointments.
• May perform other similar duties as assigned by the nursing department when necessary.
