Job description

CNA Training Course

The LECOM Institute for Successful Living is now accepting applicants for its Certified Nurse Aide Training program.

Applicants selected for the LECOM CNA Training program will receive their training at no cost. LECOM will also cover the cost for the licensing exam (terms apply).

Trainees are offered a Full Time CNA position within one or more of our skilled nursing facilities, contingent upon successful completion of the training program and the final exam, with a starting pay rate of $17.50/hr, plus any applicable shift differential.

About the Class
The LECOM CNA Training program is 4 weeks in duration, with a total of 120 hours of classroom and clinical training. The first two weeks of training will be classroom hours from 8:00 AM – 2:30 PM. While the next 2 weeks consist of clinical hours from 7:00 AM- 1:30 PM. The classes are held at LECOM at Village Square, located at 149 W 22nd St, Erie PA.

*Candidates who can work Full Time 2nd shift, 3rd shift, or 12 hour overnight shift upon graduation of the program will be given preference for admittance. Attendance during the training program is mandatory.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent, strongly preferred
• Applicants must complete a pre-employment physical and criminal background check prior to beginning their training
• Must have reliable transportation to and from the various training locations
