Job summary

Powdersville Post Acute in Easley, SC is offering a Nurse Aide in Training position designed for individuals pursuing CNA certification. Trainees receive hands-on experience under licensed staff and classroom instruction to prepare for CNAs in a skilled nursing setting.

New hires can start with wages of $16–$17 per hour, with tuition-paid CNA classes through our partnership with Impact CNA School and a $5000 tuition/loan reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Enrollment in or eligibility for a state-approved CNA training program.
• Interest in pursuing a career in long-term care or nursing.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Participate in approved CNA training program and learn under licensed staff.
• Assist residents with grooming, dressing, and hygiene under supervision.
• Observe and report changes in residents’ conditions to licensed staff.
• Help with meal service, feeding assistance, and hydration support.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents.
• Attend all scheduled training sessions and complete coursework.
