Logan Health in Kalispell, Montana, invites aspiring CNAs to join a paid training program that covers classroom instruction, hands-on clinical experience, and support to pass the Montana CNA exam. You’ll be hired into a unit before training begins and become a Logan Health employee from day one.

Training spans classroom, skills lab, and clinical rotations on Skilled Nursing Brendan House, Acute Care, and Surgical/Oncology units, with start date November 2, 2026 and a typical 3–4 week schedule.

Qualifications

• No previous CNA experience required; paid training provided.
• Montana state CNA exam prep with classroom and clinical instruction.
• Eligibility to become a Logan Health employee from day one.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care including hygiene, mobility, and monitoring.
• Assist patients pre- and post-operative care with comfort, safety and dignity.

Skilled Nursing – Brendan House

Available schedules: Days 3×12 (6:30am–7:00pm) | Nights 3×12 (6:30pm–7:00am) | Days 5×7.5 (6:30am–2:30pm) | Evenings 5×7.5 (2:30pm–10:30pm)

• Build meaningful, ongoing relationships with residents during extended stays focused on recovery, rehabilitation, and daily living support

• Develop deep clinical consistency — you’ll become a trusted, familiar face to residents and families during some of their most vulnerable moments

• A strong foundation for CNAs looking to grow their skills

Acute Care Unit

Available schedules: Days 3×12 (7:00am–7:30pm) | Nights 3×12 (7:00pm–7:30am)

• Thrive in a fast‑paced, high‑variety environment where every shift brings new patient presentations and clinical learning opportunities

• Work shoulder-to-shoulder with RNs, providers, and interdisciplinary teams to deliver complex, coordinated care

• Build a broad clinical skill set that opens doors to advanced roles within nursing and beyond

Surgical / Oncology Unit

Available schedules: Days 3×12 (7:00am–7:30pm) | Nights 3×12 (7:00pm–7:30am)

• Support patients through post‑operative recovery

• Develop specialized skills in a structured, precision‑focused environment alongside experienced surgical unit nursing staff

• Be part of a high‑performing team where attention to detail and patient comfort directly impact outcomes

Training Schedule

• Start Date: November 2nd, 2026

• Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm for 3–4 weeks

Weeks 1–2 — Classroom (Didactic) & Skills Lab

Build a strong foundation in core CNA skills, patient care fundamentals, and essential healthcare knowledge.

Weeks 3–4 — Clinical Rotations & Acute Care Training

Gain hands‑on experience at Logan Health facilities under the supervision of experienced clinical instructors. Trainees placed in Acute Care receive additional unit‑specific training, simulations, and role‑specific competencies.

Graduates are well‑prepared to work in high‑demand settings including medical units, surgical units, transitional care, and long‑term care — with clear opportunities to grow within Logan Health.

Textbook and voucher for scrubs provided.

Schedule: Based on Unit of Hire

Logan Health operates 24 hours per day, seven days per week. Schedules are set to accommodate the requirements of the position and the needs of the organization and may be adjusted as needed.
