Job summary

Absolut Care of Aurora Park is seeking a dedicated candidate for a CNA Trainee role in East Aurora, NY. This paid training program leads to certification and full CNA responsibilities within our skilled nursing and rehabilitation center.

Starting wage is $16.50–$17.50 per hour during training, with increases after certification. Full-Time and Part-Time schedules are available, followed by opportunities for advancement and strong team support.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift, turn, and transfer residents safely.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Positive attitude, team player, and dependable.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs): bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding, and mobility
• Provide basic patient care and emotional support under the direction of licensed nursing staff
• Document vital signs, input/output, and report changes in condition to nurse
• Help with transfers, positioning, and ambulation using safe techniques and equipment (e.g., gait belts, Hoyer lifts)
• Maintain a clean, safe, and positive environment for residents
• Support rehabilitation goals by encouraging independence and dignity
