Job summary

Ash Street Place is seeking compassionate caregivers to join our senior living team in Guthrie, OK. As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), you will work under licensed nurses to provide high-quality daily living support to residents.

We offer a NA Trainee path with a 2-week company-paid CNA certification program at our Guthrie facility. Successful completion leads to a full CNA role with continued training and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Compassionate and patient demeanor with a genuine desire to help others.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow instructions from licensed nurses.
• Healthcare experience or long-term care exposure is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assisting residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Providing mobility assistance, such as transferring and positioning residents safely.
• Monitoring and recording vital signs and reporting any changes or concerns to the nursing staff.
• Assisting with meal times, including feeding residents who require assistance.
• Supporting residents' social and emotional well-being by engaging in meaningful interactions and activities.
• Maintaining a clean and organized environment for residents, including making beds and tidying living spaces.
• Adhering to all safety protocols and infection control measures.
