Job summary

Green Valley Health Care is seeking compassionate CNAs to support residents in a senior living setting. You will work under licensed nurses to assist with daily living activities and provide essential care to residents in need.

We offer a CNA trainee pathway with a 2-week company-paid certification program at our Guthrie, OK facility. After successful completion, you will transition into a full CNA role while contributing to a caring, patient-centered environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in a long-term care or healthcare setting is preferred but not required.
• Compassionate and patient demeanor with a genuine desire to help others.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow instructions from licensed nurses.

Responsibilities

• Assisting residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Providing mobility assistance, such as transferring and positioning residents safely.
• Monitoring and recording vital signs and reporting any changes or concerns to the nursing staff.
• Assisting with meal times, including feeding residents who require assistance.
• Supporting residents' social and emotional well-being by engaging in meaningful interactions and activities.
• Maintaining a clean and organized environment for residents, including making beds and tidying living spaces.
• Adhering to all safety protocols and infection control measures to ensure the well-being of residents and staff.
