St. Charles Health System Inc. is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant Trainee to complete a CNA course and prepare for the OSBN certification exam.

The role progresses to a Graduate Nursing Assistant upon certification, serving under RN supervision in a 24/7 hospital environment. The program involves classroom, lab, clinical, and online coursework; trainees attend hours and pass exams to qualify for certification.

Qualificações

• Completion of accredited CNA course within 60 days.
• Must register for CNA certification exam with OSBN within 14 days of course completion.
• Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant with the OSBN within 120 days of course completion.
• AHA Basic Life Support certification required.

Responsabilidades

• Attends classroom and clinical hours as designated by the OSBN and SCHS.
• Performs duties under RN supervision as an unlicensed assistive care provider.
• Monitors patients 1:1 for safety and reports changes to nursing staff.
• Provides patient care hygiene and assists with unit mobility and cleansing of equipment.
• Documents patient care in compliance with hospital policies and regulatory agencies.
