Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in long-term care or healthcare setting is preferred but not required.
• Compassionate and patient demeanor with a genuine desire to help others.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow instructions from licensed nurses.

Responsibilities

• Assisting residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Providing mobility assistance, such as transferring and positioning residents safely.
• Monitoring and recording vital signs and reporting changes to nursing staff.
• Assisting with meal times, including feeding residents who require assistance.
• Supporting residents' social and emotional well‑being through meaningful interactions and activities.
• Maintaining a clean and organized environment for residents, including making beds and tidying living spaces.
• Adhering to safety protocols and infection control measures.
