Job summary

Calvado Care in New York is offering a CNA Trainee – Paid Training Program at Absolut Care of Aurora Park. The role starts with a paid training period and progresses to CNA responsibilities as you certify, with wage increases after certification.

The site offers a free shuttle and opportunities for advancement in nursing roles. Candidates will join a team dedicated to high-quality resident care, with on-site training, supportive leadership, and a clear pathway from CNA trainee to licensed

Qualifications

• Commit to the full CNA training program and onboarding schedule.
• Ability to lift, turn, and transfer residents safely.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding, and mobility.
• Provide basic patient care and emotional support under licensed staff supervision.
• Document vital signs, input/output, and report condition changes to a nurse.
• Assist with transfers, positioning, and ambulation using safe techniques and equipment.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and positive environment for residents.
• Support rehabilitation goals by encouraging independence and dignity.

Rate: $16.50 (increases after certification)to $17.50 and hour

Schedule:

Full-Time | Part Time
