Job summary

White Mountain Regional Medical Center in Arizona is seeking a Part-Time Unit Secretary/Telemetry Technician. The role monitors patient heart monitors and supports the nursing staff, following established standards of care and practice for the patient population served.

Reporting to the Nurse Manager or Chief Nursing Officer and collaborating with the health-care team, you will prioritize and organize diverse duties to help deliver high-quality patient care and maintain a patient-centered

Job description

The Unit Secretary/Telemetry Technician is a clinical position responsible for monitoring the heart monitors and providing support services to the hospital nursing staff utilizing the established standards of care and standards practice for the patient population it serves. Through collaboration with all member of the health-care team, strives to support a patient centered culture and gain knowledge and skills to further the practice of the quality of patient services provided at WMRMC. The Unit Secretary/Telemetry Technician functions under the direction of the Nurse Manager and/or the Chief Nursing Officer and exercises independent judgement in applying professional knowledge required to plan, prioritize and organize diversified responsibilities in the delivery of quality patient care.

Required Experience

• Knowledge regarding the nursing process and its application, including the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of nursing care

Preferred Education & Experience

• One (1) year previous experience in patient care setting

Required Licensees & Certifications

• Valid registration as a Certified Licensed Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the state of Arizona
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification

Preferred Licensees & Certifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
• Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA)
