Job summary

Baptist Beaches in Jacksonville Beach, FL is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant for the Surgical Telemetry Unit. This full-time night position offers 12-hour shifts (1845-0715) and a 36-hour work week, with up to a $500 sign-on bonus.

Responsibilities include assisting the RN with patient care, documenting in EMR, and maintaining a safe environment. BLS and CNA licensure required; RN support available and a strong team culture emphasized.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid CNA certification and be licensed to practice as a CNA.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Experience with patient care in a hospital setting is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Assist RN with care of patients in Surgical Telemetry Unit.
• Perform activities of daily living for patients.
• Maintain a safe patient environment.
• Collect lab specimens.
• Monitor intake and output.
• Document in EMR as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
