Salary Range: $19.00 - $25.50

Job Summary

The Nursing Assistant (NA) serves as caregiver to the resident during the scheduled work period in long term care. Provides resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN). Responsibilities include assisting with activities of daily living, vital signs, psychosocial support, and basic health care needs, among others.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
• Minimum age of 16. Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience preferred.
• Required CNA certification with the State Board of Nursing, or in process of obtaining it.
• Completes yearly competency testing and maintains continuing education credits.
• State-specific certifications and driver’s license may be required.
