Job summary

Wellspring Staffing is seeking a compassionate Nurse Aide (STNA / CNA) to join our healthcare team in Ohio. You will provide essential supportive care, assist with daily living activities, monitor vital signs, and maintain a clean, safe environment.

You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team, communicate clearly with patients and families, follow care plans, document observations, and adhere to health and safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Valid certification as a State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA / CNA).
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Compassionate and empathetic nature.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Monitor and record vital signs, including temperature, blood pressure, and pulse
• Support patients in their mobility and ensure their safety during transfers
• Provide emotional support and companionship to patients
• Follow established care plans and instructions from healthcare professionals
• Maintain a clean and organized patient environment, including regular infection control measures
• Document patient observations, activities, and any changes in condition
• Communicate effectively with patients and their families, ensuring clear understanding of care instructions and answering any questions they may have
• Adhere to all relevant health and safety regulations and protocols
