Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification is required.
• Medication Aide certification is preferred but not required.
• Reliable attendance and a professional attitude are essential.
• Ability to work well with a team and communicate effectively.
• Strong attention to resident needs and changes in condition.
• Compassion and patience when caring for multiple residents.

Responsibilities

• Providing assistance with personal care needs such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene.
• Helping residents with mobility, transfers, and proper positioning.
• Assisting with meals and encouraging proper nutrition.
• Providing companionship and emotional support.
• Observing residents and communicating changes in condition to the appropriate team members.
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and respectful environment for all residents.
• Following care plans and working collaboratively with other members of the care team.
