Elk Valley, a part of LHC Group, under UnitedHealth Group, seeks a Per Diem Aide to assist with personal care and daily living activities at a client’s home. You will support household tasks, monitor client condition, document vital signs, and help with appointments while maintaining confidentiality and using EVV systems.

The role emphasizes safe care, independence, and the ability to adapt to diverse home environments, with competitive hourly pay and benefits as eligible.

Formación

• Current driver's license, vehicle insurance, and reliable transportation or access to public transit.
• TN: 75 hours of training including 16 clinical hours within first 3 months; qualified for basic services
• CPR certification preferred or able to complete within 90 days of hire
• 6+ months of home care experience
• Ability to work flexible hours and independently

As the Per Diem Aide, you will provide support, assistance with personal hygiene and household functions for an individual to be able to remain in their own home.

• Provide personal care and assist with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, dressing, ambulation, and medication reminder
• Support household tasks, meal preparation, and accompany clients to appointments or errands as needed
• Monitor and document client condition, vital signs, and incidents; maintain confidentiality and use EVV system
• Ensure a safe environment, operate medical equipment properly, and respond promptly to client needs
• Ability to function in any home situation regardless of age, race, creed, color, sex, disability, or financial condition of the client

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $13.00 to $20.00 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
