Job summary

KARE is seeking compassionate CNAs to join our team in Spokane, WA. You will provide resident care under supervision, assist with daily living activities, and support medication reminders in a licensed skilled-nursing setting.

Applicants must hold a valid CNA license, be able to lift 51 lbs, and communicate fluently in English. Memory care experience is a plus; we value reliability and patient-centered care to keep residents safe and comfortable.

Qualifications

• CNA license required.
• Able to lift at least 51 lbs on a regular basis and assist residents.
• Fluent reading, writing, speaking, and understanding of English.
• Memory care experience may be required if assigned to memory care areas.

Responsibilities

• Provide residents with medication administration and treatment assistance per health care provider orders.
• Supervise residents who self-administer medication following community guidelines.
• Report changes in residents' physical condition or behavior to supervisor.
• Maintain resident records on medication distribution, activities, incidents and observations.
• Support residents with activities of daily living (bathing, grooming, dressing, mobility).
• Follow the schedule of residents' needs set by supervisor and provide emotional support.
• Inform supervisor of issues or concerns and maintain a safe workplace.

• Provide residents with medication administration and treatment assistance and services according to the health care provider's orders.
• Supervise residents who self-administer medication while following community and regulatory guidelines.
• Report any changes in residents' physical condition and/or behaviors.

Qualifications/Skills/Educational Requirements

• May require experience with caring for residents with memory impairment if assigned to memory care areas of a community.
