Job summary

Apploi in Florida is seeking a compassionate Nursing Assistant to provide daily living support under nurse supervision. Responsibilities include bathing, grooming, hygiene, feeding assistance, and mobility support while maintaining resident dignity and rights.

The role requires 18+, high school diploma or equivalent, CNA certification with timely state approval; completion of Florida AHCA Level 2 background screening is required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Completion of high school education or ability to read, write, and follow directions.
• Must be certified in the state or complete CNA training with certification within 4 months.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care to residents including bathing, grooming, hygiene, and dressing.
• Assist with meals and feeding when necessary and transport to dining areas.
• Take and record vital signs and observe changes in condition.
• Help residents move, reposition, and use support devices as planned.
• Maintain residents’ dignity, rights, and confidentiality at all times.
• Document information daily in the electronic health record.
• Attend mandatory trainings and assist with orientation of new CNAs.
