Job summary

Leisure Village Health Care Community in Oklahoma seeks compassionate CNAs to deliver high-quality care to residents in a friendly, team-based environment.

Available shifts include Days 6am-2pm and Mids 2pm-10pm, Monday to Friday. Full-time staff receive a $1,000 sign-on bonus, PTO, holidays with premium pay, tuition reimbursement up to 5,000 yearly, and a 401(k). Benefits include medical, dental, vision, and life insurance.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Must pass a state-issued exam.
• Active Oklahoma CNA certification.
• Six months long-term care experience preferred.
• Reliable email and phone contact.
• Ability to react decisively in emergencies.
• Effective communication with residents and families.

Responsibilities

• Answers signal lights and bells to determine resident needs.
• Assists residents with grooming, oral hygiene, bathing, hair and incontinence care.
• Obtains food trays and assists residents with feeding.
• Assists resident with range of motion exercises.
• Provides for personal care and comfort.
• Movement to wheelchair or activity areas.
• Assists residents with ambulation for short distance in center.
• Takes and records temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration rates, and intake/output, as directed.
• Provides direct and indirect resident care services.
• Meets the communication needs of resident and family.
• Communicates to nursing team changes in residents’ clinical condition.
• Performs other tasks as assigned
