Job summary

The Good Samaritan is hiring a Nursing Assistant to support residents in a long-term care setting in Tyndall, SD. You will provide resident-centered care under the supervision of a registered nurse, including daily living activities and basic health support.

This full-time role offers evening shifts, 40 hours per week, and a $10,000 sign-on bonus along with benefits like 401(k) and PTO accrual from day one.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
• Minimum age of 16.
• Prior CNA experience in long-term care preferred.
• Must have CNA certification with State Board or be enrolled to obtain certification within four months.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under RN supervision.
• Assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, and daily activities.
• Record vital signs and communicate changes to the charge nurse.
• Assist with transfers, mobility, and ROM exercises, ensuring safety.
• Support meals, hydration, and dietary needs; assist with documentation.
