Job summary

Vernon Rehabilitation and Health Care Center is seeking full-time and part-time CNAs to cover 32-hour and 16–24-hour schedules on 3-11 and 11-7 shifts. A $2.50/hour shift differential applies for 2nd shift and $1.00/hour for weekend hours.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed Certified Nursing Assistant/Geriatric Nursing Assistant per state law.
• Must read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Must be a supportive team member and able to work with others.
• Must be able to make independent decisions when needed.
• Must relate information about a resident’s condition clearly.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine daily nursing care per resident care plan.
• Follow directions from nursing staff and medical director.
• Participate in continuing education programs.
• Assist with resident activities and daily living needs.
