Job summary

Alameda Center is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for all shifts to provide daily care to residents, including bathing, grooming, feeding, and mobility support. Immediate openings with new increased rates ensure competitive compensation and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Current NJ CNA certification.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow care plans.
• Must meet health requirements (TB test and physical).
• Compassion, patience, and a strong sense of responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily care and assistance to residents, including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility support.
• Serve meals and assist with feeding as needed.
• Respond promptly to call lights and resident requests.
• Monitor resident health and report changes to nursing staff.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents.
• Assist with transporting residents to activities or appointments.
• Document care provided per facility protocols.
• Follow infection control and safety guidelines.
• Collaborate with team members to provide resident-centered care.
