Job summary

Alameda Center is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for all shifts with immediate openings and enhanced rates. You will provide daily resident care, including bathing, grooming, feeding, and mobility support, while collaborating with nursing staff to ensure safety and comfort.

Qualifications

• Must have NJ CNA certification and be able to read, write, and communicate in English.
• High school diploma or GED preferred for entry.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow care plans.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily care and assistance to residents (bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, mobility).
• Serve meals and assist with feeding as needed.
• Respond to call lights and resident requests promptly and respectfully.
• Monitor resident health and report changes to nursing staff.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment.
• Assist with transporting residents to activities or appointments.
• Document care provided per facility protocols.
• Follow infection control and safety guidelines.
• Collaborate with team to provide resident-centered care.
