Job summary

Pure Health in Albuquerque, NM is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to join our caring team. Shifts include day 6am-2pm, evening 2-10pm, and night 10pm-6am with a $2,000 sign-on bonus. The CNA delivers quality patient care, documents in real time, and supports the care team to enhance resident comfort and safety.

Requirements include a state CNA license, CPR/BLS, and a high school diploma; preferred one year of CNA experience. We offer tuition reimbursement, 401k, and flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• State-approved Nursing Assistant Certification.
• Valid state CNA license and CPR (BLS) certification.
• Preferred: 1 year CNA experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide and assist with physical care of patients including bathing, oral hygiene, grooming, incontinent care, toileting, colostomy care, transferring, ambulation and ROM.
• Real-time documentation of patient care and observations.
• Communicate changes in patient condition promptly to the licensed nurse.
• Assist in dining by preparing residents for meals, serving, and feeding; document intake.
• Transport patients to scheduled therapy appointments.
• Support recreational and social activities as part of care.
• Respond promptly to call lights and maintain dignity and comfort of patients.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of patient room and environment.
• Adhere to infection control and hand hygiene procedures.
• Complete annual continuing education to maintain competency.
