Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Completion of an approved Nurse Aide I training program or competency evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patients and promptly report changes to the licensed nurse.
• Record vital signs, heights, weights, input/output, and other patient data.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living: bathing, grooming, toileting, feeding, positioning, mobility.
• Support nursing tasks such as glucose monitoring and catheter care as directed.
• Provide one-on-one patient observation and maintain safety.
• Assist with admissions, transfers, discharges, and mobility aid use.
• Prepare meals, assist feeding, monitor intake, and support hydration.
• Maintain a clean, safe patient care environment and stock supplies.
• Respond to call lights and patient requests promptly.
• Assist with pre/post-operative care as directed.
• Collaborate with nurses and staff during shift changes.
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care and participate in required training.
