Job summary

Meadowbrook Respiratory and Nursing Center is seeking a dedicated Nurse Aide to provide direct resident care under the supervision of a licensed nurse. The role emphasizes adherence to policies, accurate documentation, and prompt reporting of resident needs.

Responsibilities include assisting with daily living activities, rounds, infection control, and safeguarding resident privacy and safety in a skilled care setting.

Qualifications

• Current and valid Nurse Aide Certification.
• High School Diploma or GED; three to six months experience in LTC/Skilled care.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to residents under supervision of a licensed nurse.
• Attend to resident rounds and report changes to a charge nurse or nurse supervisor.
• Document care given and resident responses clearly in notes.
• Assist with activities of daily living and personal hygiene.
• Ensure call lights are available and answered promptly.
