Cantex is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in Plano, TX to provide direct patient care and support daily nursing activities. This role collaborates with nursing staff to ensure quality patient care and positive clinical outcomes.

The position emphasizes patient safety, independence, and adherence to individualized care plans, with opportunities for professional growth within a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Current state certification as a Nursing Assistant.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Ability to lift, move, and transfer patients safely.

Responsabilités

• Provide personal care to assigned patients per care plans and safety procedures.
• Document patient care activities and observations per policy.
• Promote independence and quality of life for patients.
• Communicate patient status and care concerns to the Charge Nurse at shift start and end.
• Observe patient conditions and document relevant information.
• Maintain a safe, clean environment for patients, visitors, staff.
• Assist with lifting, positioning, transferring, and patient movement.
• Ensure equipment and devices are clean, charged, and reported if malfunctioning.
• Participate in in-service education and certification maintenance.
• Perform incidental housekeeping to support a safe care environment.
• Serve as a team leader and model for abuse prevention and patient safety.
