Job summary

The Villages at Southern Hills in Tulsa, OK has an opportunity for a Shower Aide (CNA) to join our team, providing residents with personal care and assisting the charge nurse on a Monday–Friday shift.

Qualifications

• State certification as a nursing assistant (CNA).
• Familiarity with duties of a certified nursing assistant.
• Highly developed observation skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care to residents, ensuring safety and comfort as per policy.
• Promote independence for residents where possible.
• Inform supervising charge nurse of resident status at shift start and end.
• Contribute to resident care plans with knowledge of conditions/needs.
• Assist in implementing care plans per policy and procedure.
• Observe and report residents’ conditions and document observations.
• Follow procedures for safe lifting and transfers.
• Perform moderate to heavy lifting as needed.
• Ensure equipment is clean and functional.
• Assist with incidental housekeeping to maintain a clean environment.
