The Villages at Southern Hills in Tulsa, OK is seeking a Shower Aide (CNA) to join our team on a Monday to Friday shift. You will provide residents with personal care, assist the charge nurse, and work with a multidisciplinary team dedicated to quality care and compassionate service.

Qualifications

• State certification as a nursing assistant is required.
• Familiarity with the duties of a CNA and able to perform required tasks.
• Highly developed observation skills to monitor resident status.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with residents and staff.

Responsabilités

• Provide personal care to residents in a safe, comfortable manner per policy.
• Promote independence and support resident daily living activities.
• Notify supervising nurse of resident status at shift start and end.
• Contribute to care plans with observations and updates.
• Assist with implementing care plans within policies.
• Observe, document, and report on resident conditions as required.
• Ensure equipment is clean and functional; assist with safe transfers.
• Perform incidental housekeeping to maintain a safe environment.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide personal care to residents in a manner conducive to their safety and comfort consistent with community policy.

• Promotes and supports the greatest possible degree of independence for residents.

• Advises supervising charge nurse of resident’s status at beginning and end of shift.

• Contributes knowledge of resident’s conditions/needs to resident care plans.

• Assist in the implementation of care plans as directed within the parameters of established policy and procedure.

• Observes and reports on residents’ conditions, and documents observations as required.

• Complies with requirements of procedures for safe lifting and/or safe transfer of residents per established policies and procedures.

• Must be able to perform moderate to heavy lifting.

• Assures that equipment is clean and functional.

• Performs incidental housekeeping or maintenance tasks as may be required to maintain a clean, hazard-free environment for residents, visitors, and staff.

Shower Aide Requirements:

• State certification as a nursing assistant

• Complete familiarity with the duties of a certified nursing assistant

• Highly developed observation skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Shift: Mon-Fri (7am to 3pm or 8am to 4pm)
