Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Current PA Nurse Aide Certification.
• Current BLS Certification (American Heart Association).
• Minimum 6 months as Aide Trainee or 1 year caring for geriatric/long-term care patients.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Background check and fingerprinting clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a long-term care or skilled nursing setting.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Observe and report changes in resident condition to nursing staff.
• Monitor and document vital signs and health observations.
• Maintain accurate patient documentation.
• Promote a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents.
• Protect resident privacy, dignity, and confidentiality.
• Participate in orientation, training, and continuing education programs.
• Follow all facility, state, and federal regulations, policies, and procedures.
