Job summary

Floyd Valley Healthcare in Le Mars, IA is seeking a Certified Nurse Assistant for a full-time rotating day/night shift (36 hours per week) in our Nursing Department. CNAs perform treatments under the RN and basic patient care to maintain comfort, while monitoring vital signs.

Requirements include a 75-hour CNA course, BLS and Mandatory Reporter training. We offer IPERS retirement, medical/dental/vision insurance, FSA, life and disability insurance, a fitness center and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Must have a 75-hour CNA course from an accredited program.
• BLS certification is required as an employee.
• Mandatory Reporter training certification is required as an employee.

Responsibilities

• Performs treatments within the scope of the CNA duties as directed by the RN.
• Performs basic care tasks under the direction of an RN to maintain comfort and well‑being of the patient.
• Monitors vital signs, weight, height, and intake and output as directed.
