Job summary

Focused Post Acute Care Partners in Texas is seeking a Certified Nurse Aide to join our compassionate team. You will assist residents with daily living activities to promote independence and dignity, following care plans and reporting changes to the charge nurse.

Requirements include a High School diploma or GED, current Texas Nurse Aide certification, and clean standing on the Nurse Aide Registry and Misconduct Registry. Excellent English communication and safety awareness are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have High school diploma or GED.
• Must have current Nurse Aide certification in Texas.
• Must be in good standing on the Nurse Aide Registry in Texas and Misconduct Registry.
• Ability to understand, remember and carry out verbal and written instructions in English.
• Ability to speak clearly and hear well enough to communicate with residents.

Responsibilities

• Ensure resident safety.
• Bath, shower, shampoo, shave, comb hair, dress appropriately, nail care for assigned residents.
• Follow resident assignment schedule as set by the charge nurse.
• Lift, move, and transfer residents as required.
• Answer call lights promptly.
• Assist or feed residents.
• Keep resident clean and dry, including toileting or incontinent care.
• Provide supportive, protective, and safe environments for residents.
• Other duties as assigned.
