Job summary

Aegis Therapies in Metropolis, IL, is seeking a Restorative CNA - Wellness Instructor to join our team. This role focuses on delivering wellness and restorative programs with a supportive rehab therapy team. Ideal candidates will have their CNA certification and experience with senior populations.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Work exclusively with the therapy team for delivering wellness programs.
• Assist in restorative care as directed by the rehabilitation director.
• Handle exclusive restorative responsibilities for patient care.

Skills

Current certification as Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

Schedule: As needed - weekend coverage

Setting: Rehabilitation Center, Skilled Nursing Facility, Senior Care Wellness

Location: Metropolis, IL

As a CNA/Wellness Instructor for Restorative Care, you will:

• Report to the Director of Rehabilitation / Therapy and work exclusively with the therapy team to provide knowledge and expertise in delivering appropriate wellness, fitness, and exercise programs.
• Receive full restorative training provided onsite. No restorative experience necessary, (CNA Certification Required)
• Assist in the restorative care of patients as directed.
• Exclusive restorative responsibilities (Ambulation, transfer training, bed mobility, active/passive range of motion, dressing/grooming, splint/prosthesis care) with limited or none of the "less desirable" tasks that often accompany a CNA position.
