Job summary

Providence Portland Medical Center is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant for the Respiratory Cardiology Unit. This .9 FTE day shift position (7am-7:30pm) requires working three 12‑hour shifts weekly with rotating weekends.

You will support RNs with admissions, discharges and transfers, measure vital signs, collect specimens, and assist with patient mobility to ensure safe, compassionate care. The role emphasizes teamwork, continuous learning, and professional development, while benefiting

Qualifications

• Oregon Nursing Assistant Certification License required.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association required.
• Hospital setting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to a high functioning team.

• Measure and record vital signs, output, and weights.
• Collect specimens and perform fingerstick blood tests.
• Assist with client mobility and transfers using lifts and safe devices.
