Job summary

Providence Portland Medical Center is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant for a .9 FTE, day shift in the Respiratory Cardiology Unit in Portland, OR. The position includes three 12-hour shifts (7am–7:30pm) per week with rotating weekends. Compensation details and comprehensive benefits are provided.

You will work under an RN, assisting with admissions, discharges, transfers, and routine nursing tasks, while helping maintain a high standard of patient care and safety.

Qualifications

• Oregon Nursing Assistant Certification required at hire.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association required at hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist RN with admissions, discharges and transfers.
• Measure and record vital signs, outputs and weights.
• Collect specimens and perform fingerstick capillary blood tests.
• Assist with client mobility and transfers using lifts and safe patient handling devices.
• Support continuing education and professional development opportunities.
