Job summary

Diversicare is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide compassionate care at our Amory, MS facilities. The role includes transporting residents to medical appointments, accompanying them during visits, and ensuring accurate documentation and follow-up.

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required.
• Physically capable of helping residents transfer to/from wheelchair or vehicle.
• Valid state driver’s license required.
• Clean driving record and clean criminal history.

Responsibilities

• Assure resident safety during transport to doctor visits or hospital.
• Accompany residents to medical appointments and stay with them until visits end.
• Sign in residents and present documents to office staff at visits.
• Obtain documents and prescriptions after doctor visits and ensure orders are written.
• Report to RCM after returning to facility and answer questions about visits.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
