Job summary

Providence Seward Medical Center seeks a dedicated CNA to support RN duties, maintain a safe, clean environment, and assist with daily resident care in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Under supervision, you will help ensure patient comfort, safety, and communication with the care team; Alaska CNA certification required; BLS within 30 days; opportunities for growth and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Completion of CNA training and certification prior to hire.
• Alaska Nursing Assistant Certification license required on hire.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
• Training in Caring Reliably, Culinary Training, ServSafe, and Dining Assistance within four months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist RN to maintain a safe, hazard-free patient environment.
• Communicate needs of patient/resident to the RN and care team.
• Support nursing services under supervision and document shift activities.

Education

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification

Alaska Nursing Assistant Certification License
