Job summary

Qualifications

• High School education preferred and may be required by the state
• CNA certification required, with priority given to experienced CNA candidates
• Must be at least 18 years old to perform personal care tasks

Responsibilities

• Participates in the development and updates of Personalized Service Plans; attends plan review meetings with families
• Monitors hydration and ensures proper intake during shifts
• Completes resident meal attendance and coordinates room service or dining room dining as needed
• Ensures resident rights are observed and maintained
• Initiates and assists with activities; supports daily living activities (ADLs)
• Performs daily checks on rooms and assists with cleanliness and safety
• Assists with laundry and common areas, secures chemicals, and coordinates with housekeeping
• Responds to security systems and call bells promptly and takes appropriate actions

Education
