Job summary

Good Samaritan in Bloomfield, NE is seeking a full-time day CNA to join our not-for-profit team dedicated to quality care in a Christian environment.

The CNA provides resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under RN supervision, including hygiene, mobility, meals, and documentation. Benefits include health/dental/vision insurance, a generous sign-on bonus, and flexible scheduling with every other weekend and holiday shifts.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED preferred.
• Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN).
• Assists with bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing/undressing, obtaining and recording vital signs, and providing psychosocial support.
• Assists residents with meals and snacks, ensures water and supplements as appropriate.
• Assists residents with transfers, repositioning, and walking using proper techniques and equipment.
• Maintains cleanliness and order in living areas; performs housekeeping and laundry tasks as needed.
