Job summary

Akicita Federal is hiring aCertified Nurse Assistants at the NIH Clinical Center in Bethesda, Maryland. This contract assignment supports inpatient units, day hospitals, and research protocols in a Magnet-recognized environment.

Offered a pay range of $25–$29 per hour with schedules that may include weekends and federal holidays; assignment lengths commonly 13 weeks, some roles up to 52 weeks with possible extension.

Qualifications

• CNA certification required by client.
• BLS certification required by client.
• Minimum of 2 years acute care hospital experience.
• CNA licensure in at least one state with no disciplinary actions.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, protocol-informed care and maintain research procedures and data collection.
• Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes in EHR.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living, mobility and comfort.
• Obtain and record vital signs and intake/output, report changes to RN.
• Collaborate with NIH investigators and care team.
• Support informed consent and educate patients and families participating in research protocols.
