Job summary

Albany Care, a SMHRF in Evanston, IL, is hiring CNAs/RSA to join an interdisciplinary team providing rehabilitation and mental health support.

The role requires direct care experience, English proficiency, a high school diploma or GED, and a compassionate, patient-centered approach. Multiple shifts are available, with on-site employment and on-demand pay options for full-time staff.

Qualifications

• Direct care experience is required.
• Experience in a mental health facility strongly preferred.
• Basic computer skills are expected.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with consumer and treatment team in facilitating therapeutic treatment plans.
• Implement therapeutic care plans and activities in a compassionate and caring manner.
• Recognize, note, and inform treatment team when a consumer is not at their baseline of symptoms and behaviors.
• Assist medical treatment team as assigned.
• Help check in all newly admitted consumers and readmissions, as well as assist in the transfer of consumers to different rooms.
• Maintain confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA.

Albany Care, a Specialized Mental Health Rehabilitation Facility (SMHRF), in Evanston, IL, has Immediate Openings for RSAs(Rehabilitation Services Associates) / CNAs. This is an Excellent Opportunity to gain Valuable, Hands on Experience in the Field of Mental Health.

Rehabilitation Services Associates (RSAs) work in conjunction with an interdisciplinary team, offering recovery and rehabilitation support and services to psychiatric residents who live in the facility.

Requirements

Of the CNA/Rehabilitation Services Associate (RSA):

• 21 years of age or older
• Direct care experience required
• Experience in a mental health facility strongly preferred
• High School diploma or GED
• Must speak, read and write English
• Basic Computer Skills
• Service mindset with compassion, tolerance, and understanding of adults with psychiatric disorders
