Albany Care, a Specialized Mental Health Rehabilitation Facility (SMHRF) in Evanston, IL, has Immediate Openings for RSAs/CNAs to support psychiatric residents. This union role offers growth in a multidisciplinary team with competitive pay at $19.50 per hour and a blend of clinical and supportive duties.

Responsibilities include collaborating with the treatment team, implementing therapeutic care plans, and maintaining HIPAA-compliant confidentiality.

Qualifications

• 21 years of age or older.
• Direct care experience required; MH facility experience preferred.
• High School diploma or GED.
• Must speak, read and write English.
• Basic Computer Skills.
• Service mindset with compassion, tolerance, and understanding of adults with psychiatric disorders.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with consumer and treatment team in facilitating therapeutic treatment plans
• Implement therapeutic care plans and activities in a compassionate and caring manner
• Recognize, note, and inform treatment team when a consumer is not at their baseline of symptoms and behaviors
• Assist medical treatment team as assigned
• Help check in all newly admitted consumers and readmissions, as well as assist in the transfer of consumers to different rooms
• Maintain confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA

Rehabilitation Services Associates (RSAs) work in conjunction with an interdisciplinary team, offering recovery and rehabilitation support and services to psychiatric residents who live in the facility.

Of the CNA/Rehabilitation Services Associate (RSA):

• 21 years of age or older
• Direct care experience requiredExperience in a mental health facility strongly preferred
