Job summary

People Incorporated is seeking Direct Care Professionals to support adults with developmental disabilities in a residential program in Massachusetts. You will assist with daily living activities, meals, personal care and accompany participants to medical appointments.

The role includes coordinating community outings such as movies, shopping and dinners. Applicants should have a valid Massachusetts CNA license and be able to pass a background check and TB screening.

Qualifications

• Requires valid Massachusetts CNA License.
• Background check and driving record required.
• TB screening and update every two years after hire.

Responsibilities

• Support adults with developmental disabilities in a residential program.

Requirements – What do you need to have?

• Applicants must have a valid Massachusetts C.N.A. License

• A qualifying criminal background check and driving record

What Does the Job Entail?

You will be part of a team supporting adults with development disabilities in a residential program. Direct Care Professionals provide assistance with daily activities and ensure a structured routine that includes:

• Individual community outings
• Meal preparation
• Assistance with activities of daily living
• Personal care
• Medical appointments

What are Community Outings?

As a Direct Care Professional, you will provide opportunities for individuals to integrate into the community and enjoy outings that interest them. Examples of some outings are:

• The Movies
• Shopping
• Going to Dinner
• Baseball Game
• Bowling
