Job Description

The Home Health Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) PRN provides personal healthcare and related services to clients in their residences. Responsibilities include maintaining a safe and clean environment, cooperating with patients and families, and reporting observations and issues to supervisors. This role operates under the supervision of the staff Registered Nurse and Nurse Manager.

Responsibilities
  1. Bathing, dressing, and undressing residents.
  2. Assisting with toileting of residents/patients.
  3. Serving and collecting food trays; feeding residents requiring assistance.
  4. Transporting residents or assisting them to walk.
  5. Turning and repositioning bedfast residents to prevent bedsores.
  6. Changing bed linens, running errands, directing visitors, and answering calls.
  7. Measuring and recording vital signs and fluid intake/output as directed.
Qualifications
  • Nurse’s Aide certification in Texas.
  • Minimum of 6 months experience in home health.
