Job summary

Home Health of Western Colorado in Montrose, CO is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for a PRN, on-site role. You will provide daily living support and restorative care to elderly clients, consult with the RN Case Manager, and follow safety guidelines.

Requirements include a High School diploma or equivalent, an active CNA license in the state, at least 1 year of experience with frail or elderly populations, medical clearance, a valid driver's license, and reliable

Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Licensure: Current CA license as CN A in the state of work required.
• Experience: Minimum of one year working with frail or elderly population.
• Medical clearance and up-to-date immunizations required.
• Valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living and restorative care.
• Refer to RN Case Manager and Director of Clinical Services as needed.
• Assist with hygiene, mobility, ambulation and prescribed exercises.
• Follow HHWCO policies and OSHA safety guidelines.

Pay Range: $20.87 - $25.15 per hour, based on experience.

What You Bring (Requirements)

• Education: High School diploma or equivalent required. Current License as Certified Nursing Assistant (C.N.A) in the state working required.
• Experience: A minimum of one year’s experience in working with the frail or elderly population required.
• Must have medical clearance for communicable diseases and up-to-date immunizations before having direct participant contact.
• Must have a valid driver’s license, proof of insurance and have means of transportation.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

The Certified Nursing Assistant is responsible for providing and assisting clients with activities of daily living, restorative and supportive care.

• Consults as needed with the RN Case Manager, ADON, and/or the Director of Clinical Services.
• Under the direction of the Director of Clinical Services assists clients in the home with personal hygiene, in and out of bed, assisting with ambulation, exercise and other duties taught by a health profession for a specific participant.
• Follows all HHWCO policies and procedures and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) safety guidelines.
• Performs other duties as required or requested.

We are trained in caring for older adults, providing in-home health care services in the Delta, Montrose and Ouray counties and Montrose, CO.
