Hanover IL Operations LLC is seeking a compassionate CNA for our Virginia Beach community to assist residents with daily living, mobility, and a clean, safe environment. You will collaborate with nursing staff, follow policies, and support a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.

The role emphasizes professional development and a supportive workplace. Qualifications include a current CNA license and CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain within 60 days).

Qualificações

• Must possess current CNA license from the State in which the community is located and in good standing with the Board of Nursing
• Ability to communicate verbally and in writing
• Organized and able to work well with all levels of personnel
• Contributing member of nursing team and follow instruction of supervisor
• Polite and considerate of residents, visitors, and co-workers at all times
• Able to walk and stand for extended periods of time
• Able to lift 50 lbs, and push or carry 25 lbs
• Able to safely lift and transfer residents while maintaining proper body mechanics
• In-designated uniform during working hours, to include name badge and a smile
• CPR/First Aid certified, or willing to become certified within 60 days of hire
• Represent the community in a positive and professional manner
• Attend and complete all required in-services and staff meetings
• Willing to work a flexible schedule that includes weekends and holidays
• Completes all other duties as assigned

Responsabilidades

• Assist residents with activities of daily living

• Respond to resident calls for assistance or emergencies
• Perform housekeeping duties in resident areas
• Report incidents and document care concerns appropriately
• Maintain confidentiality of resident information
• Assist residents move-in transitions with emotional support
• Report changes in resident status to the nursing team and family as directed

Job Description

• Must maintain a working knowledge of all policies and procedures pertaining to the position
• Assists residents with activities of daily living
• Reports incidents involving residents to include care concerns or issues, to appropriate individuals (ex: HCC, RN/LPN, or ED) and completes appropriate documentation
• Perform housekeeping duties, such as making resident beds, cleaning resident apartments, common areas, dining room, etc. as directed by supervisor
• Respond promptly to all resident calls for assistance or emergency alerts
• Must be able to remain calm and competent during emergencies
• Assists in planning and conducting activity programs for residents
• Follows confidentiality policies regarding release of resident information
• Assists residents to and from the dining room, and to and from activities
• Checks on residents, ensures attendance at meals and activities
• Checks on residents who are ill and reports status or concerns to appropriate individuals documents appropriately when necessary
• Communicate verbally and in writing to report resident status, upcoming community information, resident appointments, admissions, and transfers
• Assists new residents with move-in transition: provide emotional support
• Reports all resident changes and interventions and interventions in the Daily Log and clinical record. Notifies family as directed.

Requirements

Pay Range: $17/hr - $19/hr negotiable with experience
